Cars are not allowed on Surfside’s Pedestrian Beach. Located on the west end of Surfside, this area has been set aside for beach visitors to enjoy the beach without any interference from vehicles. Several of our houses are located next to this car-free beach.

A number of our visitors have had good luck fishing directly from the beach and spotting dolphins on this section of the beach. We’ve had two instances where our guests have discovered endangered Kemp’s ridley turtle nests while they were staying in our houses.

Some of our houses on the Pedestrian Beach are either next door or within easy walking distance of each other. The approximate walking distances between these houses are shown below.
